Both Apple and Disney are set to launch their own streaming services later this year which prompted a look into the CEO of Disney to remain on Apple’s board of directors.
Bob Iger is the CEO of Disney and has officially resigned from the board after being on since 2011. Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple, had asked his long time friend to be on the board before he died, in which he did during that year.
Apple is set to launch their streaming Apple TV+ service on November 1 and Disney a little after on November 12 with their Disney+ Streaming service.
