A man in St. Petersburg, Fla. had his Airpods explode immediately after using them during his workout.
He said he was lucky to have taken then off in time, or else he thinks his ear lobes would have been gone.
Electronics are powered by batteries and having batteries that malfunction can cause a lot of damage. Most recently, Samsung had to come to gripes with their own major battery problem with the Samsung Note 7.
