Travel Story: How the iPad Pro has changed the way I travel

I’ve been using my 2018 iPad Pro 11-inch during my travels around Southeast Asia for a while now and it has changed the way I travel entirely. Previous to my iPad, I was travelling around with my 13-inch MacBook Pro 2017 base model which would handle all my computing needs. However after a couple of months on the road backpacking my way around places to places, I decided one thing. The MacBook is too heavy to lug around in my bag and the computing power is just barley enough it edit the 4K content I shoot for my travel videos. It didn’t fit my needs. So when I was in Malaysia I decided to pick up the latest iPad to take as a test drive and sent the MacBook Pro home.

Long term travel with iPad OS only - What the experience is like so far

Why I’m doing this challenge: I’ve jumped in with two feet. I have sent my laptop back home with my brother and have only the iPad Pro with me as I travel long term in Southeast Asia. I’m doing it.  I want to find out if it is possible to travel long term with an iPad Pro 11-inch only with no laptop at all. What I normally do on my laptop during travel: Watch Netflix and Youtube Read news articles  Trade stocks through online investment account  Edit photos and videos Manage/transfer photos from my point and shoot camera to my external backup   Use the WhatsApp application to chat instead of using my...

iPad Pro review before Apple's New iPad OS

iPad Pro review before iPad OS This device is simply amazing. The design is what takes my breath away every time I pick it up to hold. The sharp square edges, the light weight, and the professional look of the Space Grey. Just the other day I decided to bite the bullet and pick up the trio package (the iPad Pro 11 inch 256 GB space grey, keyboard type cover, and the 2nd generation Apple Pencil) and to my surprise, there are some pros and cons that I have come to realize about this product.   Older generation iPads lacking design I’ve always been in the market for an iPad since the first one came out, but have held out year after year because it just didn’t feel like they were “the one.” Some of you may have experienced this feeling, it’s when you pick up the old generations of iPads, you can’t help but feel it’s just a blown up iPhone with a lot of rounded bulk. Especially the entry level iPad which feels a little cheap with the outer glass instead of a laminate...
