Have yet to visit the Summer Night Market? This last weekend is a must. Here's what's happening.



September 16 – 18 is the 2011 ‘Season Finale,’ and each night is packed with special events (along with the usual 300+ vendors), including discounts, prize giveaways and live performances.
  
Friday, September 16 with a special charity event to benefit the Canadian Diabetes Association: donate clothes, books and housewares—the goal is to fill a 3-tonne truck!—and enter to win prizes. The night also features discounts and live performances from Hawaiian Dance Group, A Start Studio Dance Group, and the UBC Singing Group.

Saturday, September 17, the Market hosts its Closing Ceremonies and Awards Night, with live performances of belly dancing, Tae Kwan Tao, and ballroom dance.

Sunday, September 18, the Closing Night celebrations include prize giveaways of Korean Airlines tickets, Pepsi products, and tickets the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Vancouver Aquarium, and the Vancouver Maritime Museum. There will also lots of discounts and deals, break dance and hip-hop performances by Fresh Groove and the last competition for the Filipino PNT Singing Idol contest.

And for all of those that like to visit just for the variety of delicious foods sold there, this is your last chance to get your fill!
