Iphone 11 released - the main updates to the phone

The new iPhone 11 is out and it’s pretty cool!

Touting an all new 3 camera design that allows you to take extra wide angle shots, as well as the new A13 chip that is even better than the already industry leading A12 chip in many of the iPhones XS.

So let’s get right into it.

Here are the main updates to the phone this year:

1. There are 3 versions of the iphone 11:

  • Iphone 11 - comes in many colors (successor of the iPhone XR)
  • Iphone 11 Pro
  • iphone 11 Pro Max
The budget iPhone 11 will come with a Super Retina display (LCD) and a variety of colors and will only have 2 cameras on the back, unlike the higher models that will have 3.

2. Screen sizes:

  • Iphone 11 - 6.1” Liquid Retina LCD display
  • iPhone 11 Pro - 5.8” OLED Super Retina XDR display
  • Phone 11 Pro MAX - 6.5” OLED Super Retina XDR display

3. Longer battery life - 4 hrs more

Because of the new A13 chip that now is smarter, has more transistors, and is able to light up sections of the transistors only required to get the task done, it has allowed great efficiency. That means improved battery life for all the devices.

4. Fast Charge

Finally it’s here, the support for fast charge! The new iPhones will all come with a 18W fast charger in the box too. Also wireless charging is still here and Apple has moved the logo on the back of the phone to the center indicating where you should place your phone on a charging mat.

It will still use the lighting connector, instead of USB-C.

5. Colors availability:

  • Iphone 11 - Purple, yellow, green, black, white, and red
  • Iphone 11 Pro and Max - Midnight green, gold, space grey, silver

6. Camera:

  • 12 MP wide angle
  • 12 MP ultra wide angle
  • 12 MP telephoto
  • Slow motion available on the front camera now

  • IPhone 11 - $699
  • iPhone 11 Pro - $999

Thin and portable enough 15.6" 1080p HD display screen (1920 x 1080) Dedicated NIDIVIA 940MX 2GB video card Intel i5 - 7 series processor The low price point The Cons: Trackpad feels a little cheap, too "bouncy-clicky" Display screen seems just a little bit dim, even on full brightness setting Overall: 3.7/5 STARS A great budget laptop that packs a punch! Made for the number cruncher, the student who values the balance between portability and performance, or the everyday person who likes watching a lot of videos and playing the casual game. The Physical The Acer Aspire E15 generally feels great in the hand when it's folded and carried it around.
